I hated the idea of account bound at first. Trading and gaining wealth is a big part of what draws me to a game. This obviously limits that.

Usually bots ruin this excitement for me fairly quickly though.. I gain decent wealth for a while and then the market crashes.

I love that they are trying to find an alternative to limit impact of bots while still allowing trading. I’m guessing the most valuable items will be rares and everyone will get their needed legendaries to imprint onto rares pretty easily.

My main concern is that it only annoys us and doesn’t solve the issue. I’m guessing that if they are successful, it simply changes what bots are farming.. now creating a market for rares instead of legendaries..

I’m more upset with the stupid affixes though.. increase damage to close targets, far targets, injured targets, crowd controlled.. seems basic af. I don’t know that there will be any amazing rare that makes me try hard to obtain it (or be excited to sell)

im torn between full trading and account bound on equip. But leaning towards full trading. But I can see how some people wouldnt want that. Either way though if they dont start doing IP bans and cross bans the game will eventually be ruled by botters. Especially in Hardcore its nice to find a GG item, that you can sell and make bank on. Especially when the rest of your gear is just above average and you can sell it and not risk losing it. This would still work if they did bind on equip.
