Rares roll 4 affixes same as legendarys so debate is over, there will be some trading in early mid game, so same as D3 pretty much.

What's the debate?

Rares will still have better affixes with better rolls anyway.

You know how much it costs to modify a legendary? And you're stuck with whatever that aspect rolled too 🤮

Why do i need to trade and buy from someone a yellow item to put there afterwards the leg aspect if i can obtain Sacred legendaries or even better in late game, the Ancestral legs? yellow items will not be the endgame anyway..

Unless you actually roll straight up BIS, ancestral rare base is better due to the incredibly lower reroll cost. Otherwise they're pretty much the same. BIS aspects aren't going to be too difficult to acquire in a timely pace.

Once the game/season is past the initial demand spike for aspects, I expect rares to make up 95%+ of the FG trades compared to legendary aspects. It's already a ~20:1 ratio of rares to legs, and a 3/4 good roll rare is much easier to reroll.

Yes, but you don't need that many aspects in a season. You will hit a point where you just straight up vendor aspects unless it's an upgrade as is, extremely early in the season.

I meant in a hypothetical world, where we had the 'free trade' that everyone is complaining for. What we are actually getting is already extremely close.
