Damn that's a good way of putting it I guess a lot of people here don't actually play D2.
I can't really blame them though because there's no endgame so making FG becomes the endgame.
It really sucks for those who actually wanna play the game knowing that most people are cheating via fg/p2w, botting, maphax.. might as well just play single player :(

It would be the best if there is open trade and no fg only ingame trading with items players find themslefs... But nothing is ideal in this world. Still its better than bind on account items ir restricted trading.

If you play a game comparing yourself to rmters and bots, it's a very degrading experience. Don't do that. Have fun and ride the wave. Don't let that ruin your fun, there is no reason to let it.

I mean because of the bots and RMT Blizzard and most games don't do fully open trade anymore. It's their fault this experience is being ruined for the rest of us.

nothing is being ruined over rmt / bots. if anything, they make diablo better as it's easier to trade and get items that you need. considering you could play d2 SP for 50 years and prob never find a zod

just another testament how diablo 2 is a god damn gem, even something could be a negative for it, is now a positive

This game shouldn’t be put in the same genre as an arpg which has been defined what an arpg is by previous games on the market. This is a top down WoW with a Diablo theme. The game takes more from WoW than from actual arpgs.

1. Level scaling
2. Account bound items
3. No transparent map, only map that will cover your whole screen
4. Rifts are basically mythic+ dungeons which are from D3 rifts
5. Loot piñata world bosses
6. World quests, watch them add dailies like “complete 3 dungeons to earn this reward”
7. Gathering crafting material

The ui is also a Diablo immortal copy paste.

Yup, this is the best mindset since thats the best option we have for arpg.
