What if you are anti-social and want to grind by yourself?

Do i just follow the basics of doing whatever pit allows me to have < 90 sec clears?

yeah just do an evade spiritborn and blast 110 in 80 seconds. That's faster than this whole thing anyway

To those who don't wish to read below I'll summarize this in one single sentence.
If I run 2 pit 65's in ~80 seconds I earn 22Million Exp, he earns 14 Million.
Please entertain me and read why this logic will actually LOSE you 45+ hours of playtime.

I appreciate your reply to this thread as I always encourage people to challenge each other in an effort to create a better system. However, in this instance. You are incorrect. Let me explain why.

First let's make a few points known

pit 65 = ~11Mil Exp per run
pit 110 = ~14Mil Exp per run

Running a pit 110 in 80s is "faster". I'd believe you mean it's a faster alternative to reaching 300 paragon than the method I provided. I will explain this information you provided and common misconception by numerous players is false.

1- Nobody can just "throw together a quick evade spirit born" that can "blast" 110's in 80 seconds. This is something that is obtained through rigorous farming in multiple facets.

a ) You will need a multitude of items that will make the evade build operational (The strategy guide in this post is for a player to hit the ground running immediately OR for players like you who have perfect GG gear, however your GG gear won't gain you more exp/hr)
b ) You will need an abundance of obducite to make this evade build operational
c ) You will need multiple Mythic items to make the evade build operational for those 110 80s clears.
d ) You will need high level glyphs (not level 60 glyphs like the strategy guide I provided, to make the evade build operational)
e ) Evade builds will take up a very large amount of time, expertise and dedication to even clear a 100. This is not a common occurrence for an evade to clear a 100, or by having friends level your glyphs since evades are not as powerful to begin with.

My guide requires not one single mythic, glyph above 60, or any specific triple crits in MW. You can run my strategy guide with multiple pieces at 750 ip. (non greater affixes).

2- The amount of time you spend doing all of the chores above ^ will take most average players weeks if not an entire season. This doesn't allow for any time spent grinding paragon. The player following my strategy is already 300 before you even finish farming the obducite and mythics required to complete the evade build requirements.

3- The absolute most important point to be made.
If you run 3 level 110's in 80s you will obtain ~42Mil EXP in 4 minutes of time spent in pits.
If you run 5 level 65's in 36-68seconds you will obtain ~55Mil EXP in 4 minutes of time spent in pits.

4-
Finding a party through party finder of people who can effectively run pit 65's is a difficult task alone. Bringing this up to 110's is nearing next to the impossible side. It can happen sure, but how much time is wasted doing so? Your claims don't take into account all of the time spent gearing your character and looking for additional party members who can actually run this content with you. This is an incredibly large amount of hours spent doing all of the things listed. By this time, your average player with subpar gear and glyphs ~60 is already 45 hours deep and closing in on 300. I finished my 300 grind swiftly without the use of a single lvl 100 glyph or any triple MW'd gear. I also did this using the party finder with complete strangers who quickly jumped on board when they saw their exp bars skyrocketing.

Ultimately, even if you didn't account for the countless hours required to masterwork, farm obducite, farm gg gear, farm your glyphs to 100 and so many other chores required to make the evade operational. You will STILL be earning LESS exp. If you dialed your evade build back down to 65's and ran those instead of 110's you will in turn gain more exp/hr than running your evade build on 110's. Don't take my word for it, go test it out.

thank you for elaborating in such detail. The math does make sense if all you care about is the exp. thank you. i've officially started my 275 grind to 300.

Hit 294 and are about halfway to 295.

It gets exponentially slower from here right? Im seeing more of my sessions take longer and longer per paragon lol

Thanks for the tips.
I did cheat and gamble every 10 runs gave myself like 30-60 second time to scan just my GA drops and gamble necks.
Didn't do alot on this character because prior toons had died so mostly leveling and it took about 114 hours.
Didn't have a lot of groups, but did finally end up really effective with your methods with just two speed runners.
