like give me a blueprint to have fun when I have a day off from work I want to play diablo 2 or diablo 4 but I just cant get a grip on what to do...

I play diablo 2 but I made 10 lvl 99's
I play diablo 4 but I get bored after 30 mins of helltide because I do not know what else to do and basically you can use all your skills after 1 hour (not complaining)

they slowed the pace down for Diablo 4 but I did not think it needed to be slowed down...


i do NOT LIKE POE because its just doing maps constantly over and over again.. but I love doing CS on diablo 2.... so its not the repetivieness that gets me its something else...


I love doing chaos... but baal .. not so much..

I just love the pace for cs...

but once i Hit lvl 93-94... i retire... then I make a new toon or play diablo 4 for 30 mins then take a nap...

any suggestion?


I like this post. I honestly don't even understand the end game. At least in Diablo 2 I felt like my power was always increasing. Handing out two hand fulls of mythic items is wild AF, there's not even a grind. They straight up just give them to you.

Idk what D4 is, items are paragraphs to read and screen is full spam 200 things going on at the same time, loots are dropping like candies and not even looking to pick them up.

D3 and D4 are hands and gloves b)

My experience is d4 is incredibly fun as you’re progressing towards end game. Building up a character feels great

After you get there, it gets very tedious and I quickly get bored of it

Been playing D2 legacy aince it released late 90s. Haven't tried D2R yet cuz why bother I have D2 already lol..Initially was excited about D4 release..til they started showing it..looks like the retarded offspring of diablo 3 and path of exile. I just started playing and it is an absolute struggle that I've made it to level 20..D4 is so boring and I have no idea what the actual storyline is. The dialog sucks and is uninteresting. Even the opening video is uninspiring. Idk..I promised myself I would give it an honest shot but this shot is just a dud I think. Currently awaiting POE 2 to release in november.

This recent d2r ladder reset made me realize part of why i like d2 so much better, blues and yellows feel good for the 1st day or 2, and the journey is more fun. There are necessary objectives to reach the end game, not just grinding helltide->nmd->pit/horde.

You can also choose different paths, can start mf/hork hero, uber runner, cow runner, key farmer, rusher, dueler etc.

In D4 it's just make hero and grind. Altho the d2 endgame of competing to TZs is daunting since games are limited, Otherwise D2>D4.

im also dead ass curious what endgame dmg increase d2 gave? bruh we ran baal runs till our faces fell off not a damn dmg increase in sight, i hate this planet change that name to lowbrain or nobrain.
