I doubt all the gold was legitimately farmed. Farming whisper net you the most gold per hour but that’s like 50m/hour, so about 20h non stop farming for a bil. I sell stuffs to make gold too, in order to upgrade and enchant my gears. But without being funded by some whale on diablo.trade, i don’t think i even have enough gold to masterwork and enchant, let alone go offer 10bil for a 3ga. Unless you just farm to sell gold without getting bored or using the gold to upgrade/roll your gear. Reminding you that at week 2-3 of the season, there were already billions out in the market ready to offer by some chinese/korean users. That seems a bit off to me ngl.
