Na, you would just have a few asshats with immortal characters griefing people while questing and doing helltide with no way to fight back at all. It would drive people away from the game for sure. Atleast right now if you don't want to put up with shit like that you can just stay out of the fields of hatred. Even in D2 you could make private games if you didn't want to deal with hostile players, but in d4's open world there would be no escape.
