a new player will certainly die in normal. aside from dying, you start to feel the lack of damage without proper gear (non mule characters) around act 3. if you're not a sorc/fire trap/fissure druid things just don't take as much damage after act2. it's easy for you and i, we've played for 20 years. i literally just picked a necro in d4 this season and change gear every single NM dungeon now. nothing matters so far. i feel like anything before T4 is just a waste of time. it has no "umph" to it. normal and NM in d2 still feel like a struggle and you feel accomplished capping your resistances and finding better loot to push hell.

and dont get me started on tempering lol. let me add 80% more skeleton mage damage to my gloves for what? they were already 1 shotting everything
