No, it's worse than D3 in almost every way.

D3 at least was fun, especially at start when noobs were crying in act 2

I say try it. I was a huge D2 fan and hated D3. D4 has the gameplay of D3 and the graphic direction of D2. It feels more like D3 in my opinion, but it’s way better than D3 already and has the potential to be significantly better than it already is after the annual expansions and all the seasonal content.

game is basically d3 without 7 years of content to make it a mediocre game
You will not like it.
D3 has nothing really in common with d2, so d4 does not as well.
