Yeah I bought it, can't wait for it to get optimized. 95% of players have to disable volumetric clouds atm to make it playable atm. There's enough changes to make me wanna put just as many hours into it as I did the old one

P. S. I paid 5.6k for it in the steam sub. Best thing about this forum is I haven't paid for a game since I started on this site

Can you explain Rimworld to me? I bought it on someone’s recommendation but I struggled to get in it on console. Am I basically puppeteering this colony and watching my horrific decisions play out in terrible ways?

Pd2 has a smaller player base, mostly old D2 people in their 30-40s. But it has a player base and its a nice community and the trade site is nice too.

Itemization is simply fantastic. Also from a ssf-point of view its fun cause drop rates are higher than D2r/lod.

Not a lot of botting I think they strike down hard on it, and also not very many players who are buying (i think).

Im new to the game though but enjoying it alot, especially the community albeit small but I dont really mind.

There are pvp tourneys dunno how many are active in it, probably not many. But in my experience casual pk/pvp can only be found in really really popular games everywhere else its always a small but competitive community.

Not all your decisions turn out terrible tho once you learn it The learning curve is tough to get over. But its extremely addictive once you figure out how to play.
the crazy rng is what makes it so good, and the chaotic shit you can do... a couple examples.. I had a cannibalistic tribe in the ice sheets selling legendary furniture made of human skin. Another colony of mine I had a well loved pawn who was kind and kept everyones moods up... sooo I removed his arms and legs and implanted a joywire into his brain so he was always happy and placed him in the middle of my workshop to keep all my colonist happy while working.
