I don't think any of us is arguing, we are just debating.
It's important to understand and break down what are the key points that keep the D2 crowd happy and implement it into their sequel or franchise.
To me, I see Diablo 4 being driven by player metrics, financial incentive, monetization and stock performance more than player experience.
I understand Diablo 2 and Diablo 4 are two different games and it is a fair valid point but it is also important to understand that the targeted audience for this game most likely played D2 in the past and have expectations. The players who never played D2 or D3 seems to be the one that play longer due to having next to no expectations.
