I just hate that games are built with the word grind used in development. Grund should be a byproduct of difficulty and not inherent to playing the game. How fucked do you need to be to enjoy shame that tells you “this is going to be an experience unless you put a second jobs worth of hours in weekly”. It just doesn’t compete with going outside at that rate.

Season 2 feels like final Beta to me. Player quantity will probably record boom and dependant on it will die off in x amount of weeks.

For me, the one thing that is still lacking is exponential objectives. Making level 100 easier to get to makes no sense to me. If you use Diablo 2 as reference, how many people care about getting to level 100 whilst still subconsciously holding it in mind? There are a lot of other things to do without getting there.

Definitely a step forward though.
