lol at all the drama around this game now. and its all because the game is only optimized for AMD systems. most of the bad reviews and hate are from angry nvidia, intel, and ps5 fanboys. RIP to intel gpu users as the game won't even work for them. As someone who has a really strong AMD gaming pc starfield has been running smooth as butter @ 4k resolution for me.
this game isn't perfect and I definitely have some complaints but its delivered on about 3.5/5 things it promised. the combat is fun, its fun to build bases and ships, and screw around with the weapon mods.
the idiot streamer quin who claimed diablo 4 is a better game is absolutely full of sheet. don't even get me started on how bad diablo 4 was and is. do we really need to go over everything in diablo 4 that was utter trash? b/c it was 90% of the game.
if your into roleplaying games then this game will hit the spots.
starfield: 7-8/10
diablo 4: 3/10
the real discussion here should be about how games are going to be partnering with hardware companies and only optimizing for certain brands, or how game studios are relying on upscaling ai technology too much so they don't have to optimize their game engines.
the fact that a rtx4090 and a rx7900 xtx struggle to put up 60fps in some parts of this game should be what people are talking about.
Quin has lost the plot and isn't a reliable source of information. I've seen him and his plethora of bad takes recently. He's probably only interested in stirring the pot to draw in views. Early on he was doing proper critiques on Diablo 4, but he must not have much experience with bethesda games. The biggest common complaints I hear about starfield are facial animation character graphics are outdated and that it doesn't do much space sim, IE too much fast travel instead of actually getting to use your ship. Although I have seen footage of dog fighting in space so I don't know how accurate the lack of space exploration turns out to be.
