I'm not sure why people think turn based automatically makes a game worse. Some of the best games have been turn based, at least for me growing up. Probably the standouts for me are much older but I felt pretty immersed in x-com and final fantasy tactics. I haven't played many modern turn based, but I definitely see the appeal. Originally Diablo development started out as turn based.

D4 devs can turn based deez nuts

Baldur's Gate 3 is not a fun game at all. The gameplay is very very very boring. If I wanted to play a board game I would play a board game. Why people think they can compare a game like diablo to BG3 is beyond me. BG3 is not even a new game it has literally been around for a year or two and now people want to say they set the bar high for rpg games when really its total horse shit. If any more games are made that are like BG3 I will just play diablo because at least I have fun playing diablo. Playing BG3 I might as well shoot myself in the face because I feel like I will kill over before the game actually gets exciting. The only thing BG3 does decent is they do decent cut scenes but that is it.

I agree the two games are not comparable but fun is subjective. Haven't played bg3 so can't judge, however Shadows of Amn was one of the best rpg games back in 2000's and that's universally agreed not just me spitting nonsense out of my ass.

I can def agree with that statement.

The only turn based game I enjoyed was the final fantasy games and even now days they aren't turn based anymore.

bg3 is totally lacking the A in ARPG its just a...rpg

Then they use gatekeepering logic of but...but you didn't play to lvl 100 for 1000hrs your opinion don't matter. It's just elitism.

There is almost no substance to refute why the game is bad its just "you are wrong!" This is pure cope and you are just butthurt because it's true and you have nothing to argue about.
