PVP in D4 is underwhelming and very similar to Brawling in D3 imo, which really sucks.

Thats what my modded GBC is for, sitting on the couch with my two cats and my fiance while she binges shit tv like Desperate housewives and 90 day fiance lol.


I keep telling myself, once I complete all the end-game content for season 1, I will then move on and play something else. I'm pretty close but I'm getting to the point where I don't understand what im rushing for? Will I feel accomplished enough that I won't worry about the 10s of hours I've put into the season (that time could have been spent learning and actually enjoying a supposedly great game in BG3)? To answer my own question probably not.

In sumamry I will probably continue playing D4 and watch out the window as all the neighborhood kids enjoy life.

I loved KoToR which was turn based (although that was a lifetime ago) so I don’t mind turned based. I’d maybe be interested in BG3 if it ever comes to Xbox as that’s the only platform I play games on anymore. But it looks like that may be a ways off or never from the sounds of things. Which is a bit weird as it’s coming to PS5 next month. I guess well see.

Ye Im not playing turn based anymore except BGI, which was rly nice. I would assume if you like turn based, BG3 will be much more fun compared to D4 in the long run.


Titan Quest II may be interesting as well. Didnt play Titan Quest I though.

I played and liked d4 on release, my opinion has consistently worsened since then. Haven’t played it in weeks

Been playing bg3 slowly since release, if crpgs like that are your thing you will absolutely love it. I’m not a fan of the turn based combat but I’ve still been having a good time. It’s unquestionably better than d4
