None of the points above for me. Those seem to be saying the game is 2 hard. I don t feel like that for any of the points.

I am having loads of fun in the game but what i would like to see fixed sooner rather than later is:

- resistances
- the weight of weapon dmg as the most important stat for 95 % of the builds
- improve other dmg multiplier similar to vulnerable (overpower, elemental resistance of mobs potentially )
- rework most uniques / add more uniques and make them even more usable
- rework the socketing concept and add a crafting system
- rework the storage of aspects and sigils in it not occupying inventory space
- make it possible to farm unique bosses with an added chance of getting unique items or an improved version of the uniques maybe? (last part was a brain fart while I was typing)
- fix getting hit out of the screen or at least apply a 90% reduction? Not sure about this one. It s kind of nice having the unexpected hits keeping you on your toes. For HC is absolute shitters.

On top i wouldn t mind to have trade possible on legendaries / potentially uniques... but I also don t care about it that much so whatever in that regard.

 you wanna replay campaign every season/character?

Campaign is usually meant to sneak in content that isn't available or mechanics. This game has none of that

Just boring money grab

In my view the biggest issue is a bunch of issues of roughly equal importance. Underpowered characters, missing features considered standard, and stability/bugs. The fewer of these problems the game has the fewer people will complain about it.

Their problems are all branching out from core design issues, not just small missing features and bugs. The game itself will require a 2.0 patch the likes of Final Fantasy Realm Reborn. Developers had no real vision for this game and most of them need to be replaced if they want to successfully monetize it in the future. If not then it can just end up like other live service failures and become abandonware. Yes the initial sales were good because players didn't know any better, but now that the cat is out of the bag and not in a Schrodinger state the monetization will plummet. You can't have whales if you don't have player retention to begin with. Who wants to buy micros when they can't show them off to anyone?

I think they've adequately demonstrated they have no interest in delving so deeply into the game as to fix core problems. Maybe if MS actually shakes things up such a thing might happen but the current management has no interest from what I've seen. I'm just going by issues they've yet to demonstrate they won't cover.

I think we'll know by season 3 whether or not they're just going to put this game on life support/maintenance mode. Season 1 is not off to a good start. The major issue is once you've lost your playerbase from a poor launch, it's VERY difficult to get them back in a live service game.

For all we know microsoft tells them to rush development on Diablo 5 and move on from this project as the cost would be too great to fix it (coding issues). Personally I'd prefer this option as D4 just seems like a dud. If we can get another game in 5-6 years instead of dragging out a live service for an otherwise mediocre game it might be a better way to redeem themselves, who knows though..

D4 has an advantage in already having made a lot of profit from sales, and has 2 dlc's at least partially developed. I think they'll release at least 1 dlc before there's any real chance of shutting it down, which might be as far away as s4. Unless concurrent players flatlines anyway, but if that hasn't happened already it isn't going to any time soon without additional clueless mass nerfs like that last one.

Going to D5 and leaving D4 as is would be very risky. They need to restructure in house anyway or D5 would just be more of the same.

Yeah restructure definitely seems like a possibility for the team itself. It's even more plausible since they're hiring new staff for key positions for the game.
