insisting on classifying and defining is generally nothing more than a copout
i mean lets say i applied the same principle but took it to the extreme, for example, we cant compare a RPG to an ARPG? well then we also cant compare an ARPG by one company to ARPG from another

or compare a game from 2016 to a game from 2017 because so much difference etc..
in reality, its hard to really define where the line is. you can compare a lemon to riding a bike if you want, just ask yourself which you enjoy more.. i mean yeah the bigger the difference between things the harder it is to compare them and i agree theres some arbitrary lines (is it a computer game? which genre it is?), but you can always do it
