I think next month will be a big turning point. Other games are launching to really take away the spotlight from the only big ARPG release. They screwed up the game so badly it shouldn't be difficult for the game to be lost in obscurity over a short time, like many live service titles. I bet they sabotage the next D2R season again in order to keep attention focused. Predicting no new content (runewords) for next season.

Is Remnant a Destiny style game or something? I see it's a shooter from the gameplay. Never played the first one or have any knowledge on the game.

Looter shooter genre like borderlands maybe?

Personally I've never played any looter shooters. More into the whole sword and sorcery type games.

Dark souls like game but as a third person shooter and loot system, class/skill system, and loot system with coop play.

The reason not many people hear about this type if game is the companies are not rich enough to bribe off streamers to do fake reviews for the game. Vice versa you have Blizzard here telling Shroud "hi, if you suck my game's dick, I will pay you good amount of cash in your bank".

The marketing for D4 was insane. Just looking at all the near 10 reviews when the game was barely mid still makes me giggle.

Current user score is 2.3, yikes.

I don't think it's that bad, and before the patch notes it was near 5 so yeah about a mid title. It's just so hilarious that companies sell out their reviews.

Blizzard deserves the review bomb for their predatory tatics.

I'd still love to know how much they spent on bribes, erm um i mean sponsorships. It's pretty apparent, but we'll probably never know the truth on the sum spent to catapult this game.

From streamers bought and paid for to fake reviews. Marketing for modern games has taken a strange turn of snakeoil salesmen sometimes. "Hey you in the audience who totally isn't a plant, why don't you try some of my wonder cureall elixir?" This stuff has been going on for thousands of years and people still get suckered into purchases.

they hijack the players cursor and move it over to the activate battlepass button. they should be at -1 on that predatory tactic alone, minus any gameplay issues. insane to me how people continue to support them after that

No confirmation on transaction too, first time in my life seeing this.

the console thing where the button becomes activated when the ui page opens i could see as just a scummy move (player still has to make a conscious decision to press it). but using winapi functions to automatically move the player's cursor onto that buttom is so fcking predatory iuno where to begin

imagine if poe did any kind of auto cursor movement in their mtx shop. oh my
