I imagine people were having thoughts about removing this a week or two ago, if they're coming forward and backtracking it this quickly. Likely people expressing concern on their slack or whatever they use.

I work in software, decisions to revert a deliberate change in a patch don't happen in a day, especially not something as peripheral as this, affecting only people creating alts. It really wouldn'tve been the end of the world if it was reverted a week from now. It was already in the works.

I think the new malignant hearts look awesome, necro will be stronger then ever. Imagine auto decrep being cast, auto corpse skills going off. That's going to be fun for every necro build. Sorry to hear the sorcs still suck. Maybe try some strong class until they fix it.
