How did Diablo 3 develop? Started as dogsh*t and ended as dogsh*t. If you think this game is getting its core systems fixed, all I can say enjoy. POE 2 has my attention now.

Hopefully they don't go overboard with poe2 like they did with 1.... There's just too much content in that damn game. It's overwhelming.

They have corporate investors now, so they will make it more new player friendly to have a broader audience and get a larger player base.

As long as they don't f it up, I don't see how POE 2 is not a better game than D4 outside of maybe campaign and engine.

PoE is shooting themselves in the foot. a ton of people (including myself) refuse to play the game because of no campaign skip. They doubled down on that with PoE 2 and made an even longer campaign. They would be immensely more successful by just adding that one simple feature. It blows my mind they can't get out of their own way.

also if i didn't need 4 different programs to play the game that would be fucking great.

If the economy is the same as poe1 it blows d4 out of the water based on that alone

one expansion is done and another one is on the works, if the game were fun why would we need to buy them?

boring and barebones on purpose i think.

you may not remember how much better D2 LoD made Diablo 2 it went from a good game to the best game with an expansion. Sometimes the expansion sends the game to the moon.

Additions to the game are not going to fix the core problem. The items are absolutely garbage. The entire system is junk. Every single mod is junk. There's nothing fun about 15 different types of damage number.

i will be interested to see how they implement rune words into the game, they could do a ton of stuff change the damage systems, I am not telling you to have high hopes but if you don't like the game thats your right. The damage isn't my current problem i wish we had something to strive for at the end game. if you can clear a T100 and uber lilith there isn't anything to aim for. except an item that will never drop.

That's where the lack of itemization destroys this game. Items are supposed to be the end game. Finding stuff for your next character, finding stuff to trade, ect. You can do none of those things because of the absolute moronic decision to tie level req with level found and then no trading. Once you get to100 you're just done. You can't use it to gear an alt, can't use it to mf, nothing.
