Is blizz reading jsp topics? They’re changing the 100000 steps boots I mentioned in the topic by removing the stun affix for bonus movement speed. That’s an improvement but seriously what are these UNIQUE boots all about? Asides from the ground stomp It just gives resource only after attacking with 3 different weapons and can occur once every 30 seconds. I’m sure there are more complaints on these boots and in general most uniques seem to be useless. What boggles my mind is how and why they even decided to create these bland uniques in the first place.
Someone said above why you’re comparing d2 to d4 and here is the main reason; itemization. Why did I compare war travelers to 100,000 steps, wt gave a nice boost to stats, movement speed, and gave a whopping boost to magic find which has a heavy impact, so simple yet so necessary that it is embedded on your character. On the other hand 100,000 steps says do this to get that and limits it to once every 30 seconds, and mainly for what? X number amount of resource; classic d3 itemization. But not having the movement speed on the boots was ridiculous, maybe it was a joke item and that’s why they called it 100,000 steps.
Maybe blizzard finally getting out of their cubicles and touching grass.
