https://i.imgur.com/eNITkQh.pngNow, I will tell you that I was #72/1000 according to the Diablo 4 armory page for the Hardcore ladder statue achievement. So this may have brought extra attention to my account.
Here's the only things I can think of.
#1 Ran champion demise degen mode before they nerfed the exp there with a 4 man group and leveled very quickly with random people I found on D2JSP (none of have which been banned) Might I add you that Shroud, and several over ttv streamers also did this same method with tens of thousands of viewers watching them do it.
#2 Traded fg for hundreds of millions of gold on SC
#3 Right before the ban I purchased a complete complete BIS crossbow for 20k FG. I had two level 100 characters on my account that were SC. One was HC which I stopped touching after level 100.
So I'm not sure if trading is out of the mix in this game or not but be VERY CAREFUL with in-game messages. A few people during trades did message me saying "hey xxxx username here"
I always made sure to put a rare in trade when trading for gold. But blizz is def cracking down. Sucks I worked so hard legitimately to hit 100 on HC and was even top 100 players but it is what it is, no unban, no appeal possible.

this is why i avoid investing into things that arent mine, and only play free to play games if i dont actually own the game
and i dont even care about their ToS and how logical it sounds, if i pay for the game, i expect to own it and be able to do anything with it
for example poe. technically f2p but i rarely actually played because i dont own the account, and if i lose it, its my time lost. yet i played poe because the only thing i do there is make hideouts and you can save those client side so i do own them
atm playing neverwinter nights with some friends and, well lets just say my char name rhymes with digger and one friends char name rhymes with bag. these days that would be an instant ban
tldr: dont pay for shit unless you own it. otherwise the actual owner will be able to reshape your actions and eventually, your thinking
