i dont think many will bot for ssf  from what i know about psychology, im more inclined to think that most would rather not even play than bot exclusively for ssf  reason being that the biggest reason for botting is finding something exceptional that can be sold, people can implicitly calculate risk/benefit ratio and ssf botting is very unlikely i think
blizzard doesnt understand that player interaction is what makes a game popular. removing trading is a very dangerous path to take, way more dangerous than risking botting
I would argue, and this is precisely because of psychology.
The reward system in our brain is what makes games so popular. It's also what contributes to spending hours in them, as well as spending money on pixels - whether in the form of an item or anything else.
Look at the number of stores that have been around for a long time for D2R or the original D2 - people just want to spend money on it.
Now, they won't be able to buy a glyph or the unique item of their dreams.
Instead, they will rather be able to set up a bot that will find it for them.
I think a large part of the bots in D4 will be just such people, but of course I could be wrong.
For the moment we are left with nothing but speculation, and how it will actually be, we will find out a few months after the launch.
