anyone that thinks D4 itemization is good is literally braindead. Gameplay is fluid and not bad i guess, but items are sooooo fucking boring. With the reroll system it makes getting your 4/4 wayyyyy to easy.

You mean you don't like itemization with 4 mods and all of them are merely chosen for being of different bucket damage multipliers adding no variety other than a number? They quite literally gave people set bonuses all over again without them realizing it. What an interesting system that worked out for player retention the first time around.

Came to say just this. You were defending this game so hard like a month ago. What happened? Lol. Almost like what we were all saying over a month ago is starting to be realized now.

I wasn't defending the items a month ago. I never defended the itemization. Not once.

Lvl 40 here, the gameplay mechanics/skills are really nice and smooth, I’m having fun with it. I think the game has a ton of potential. The biggest complaint is the easiness.. there was only one point where I progressed the campaign fast enough to get myself killed (Gate to Hell). I had to go level up more. reviving at checkpoints is too forgiving. The item aspects seem interesting to me. Skills are interesting too. I still don’t understand damage scaling, DPS, and skill damage. Like does weapon damage increase skill damage like D3 or is skill damage separate (I have +5nado gear which helps). Also does weapon DPS take into consideration the item attributes?

Nah, most the ones defending it spent minimum $100
I was saying from day 1 the itemization was bad, no trading would kill the economy, smart loot is horrible design unless you're only playing ssf, and scaling is a lazy horrible system. Then I'd get like 10 replies saying how I was wrong and a d2 fanboy or some shit.

im surprised there arent more people complaining about how tedious it is to manage inventory. i spend a good 1/3 of my time in this game browsing through my inventory and running between vendors and my stash. makes me not want to play.

You can hold 30 different weapons in your inventory in d4 and when you town you gotta try to not kill yourself while you strain your eyes looking thru each and every item for the right mods.

D2 you can carry like 10 weapons Max and you don't have to pick up every stupid yellow weapon because you can ignore shit bases. Guess what's not in d4? That's right.... Bases. So you have to look thru literally everything. Moronic.
