Poe's economy fascinates me. Everything being consumable do that it keeps the economy balanced is so good. I wish it wasn't such a convoluted mess though. I hate that you need a PhD to play it now.
i try to view it from an Occam's Razor perspective:
chris and jonathan grew up playing diablo religiously and loved magic the gathering (cool rpg elements there too)
