Its bad when you have 6 or 7 friends play at launch and they all quit within a month. D3, D2R at least got 3 months of continous game time, so something is fundamentally wrong.

I've had more friends start playing. Weird. We don't no life it and get burnt out in a week tho because we are already 100 with an Uber Lilith kill because we have t moved for a week

Most people I know who started it have quit and gone to other games.

All my friends (including myself) work full time. I took one day off at launch and had fun during the campaign, but i slowly realized that there was nothing to aim for. I dont even care about killing uber lilith as a barb (too much effort for little incentive). Most of my friends rolled sorc and are upset about the weakness at end game.

I dont regret buying the game, but its sad that diablo has gone downhill since blizzard merged with activision and is prob going to get worse if microsoft acquires them. It will be like the 40 year old virgin trying to make an instructional guide on how to get laid for diablo 5

We all realize that right now is just a time to learn the game before seasons start. Plenty is going to get added so there's zero reason to burn out on it right now. No, it's not a perfect game, far from it, but a lot of the problems are fixable..... Except for the damn item. They gotta do something to spice that up..... Everything is just a damn number.

If you keep buying this garbage on the worthless promises to fix into something that is just more than "fine", you're part of the problem. You could see this games issues a mile away without owning it. There's plenty of other mediocre-good arpg titles you could buy for much less.

I concur that a lot of the problems are fixable, but that is why it is crucial that people make their complaints heard and tell blizzard what is wrong with the game. Imagine if we didnt have the civil rights movement in the states or the Boston Tea Party. America isnt perfect, but it would have been a hell of a lot worse. America was built on protesting lol.

Yea and the itemization (legacy from d3) is crap. Why couldnt they just go with the d2 format if they couldnt come up with anything.

Also why the fuck can you not reset the entire paragon board like you can skills? Absolutely retarded.

You're right and i will have to protest with my credit card. Unfortunately diablo 2 made me like a scientology believer and im going to have to stop being a blind follower of this series. Im not perfect btw and see the flaws in my ways in that aspect.

Biggest inflection point was D3:ROS. If people hadn't bought it, you'd probably see something more like D2 in D4, but people bought it on the promise it would fix d3 into a good game. Turned it from garbage into the mediocrity it was in ROS, and perpetuated in D4. Just try to remember this when you see the next inevitable expansion. Biggest hint that this game will probably always suck is the items which they've deemed are 'good enough' due to how D4's are very similar to ROS.
