this might be where you got the SFF mindset from. i understand your point as it can feel like that, but it's like driving in real life, there's always gonna be traffic unless you're a cop running code 3. it's the same in arpgs, there's always gonna be RMTers and bigger fish in an online game, unless you are the whale.

just play the game (drive alongside the traffic) like the rest of the turds, and enjoy the experience and understand you're not at a disadvantage in the grand scheme of things, as all the other drivers are driving in the traffic like you and have to yield to the p2wers (emergency vehicles)

stupid analogy i used, but it works


Folks who prefer SSF don’t necessarily all do it because they hate “p2w” or “RMT”. Some folks just enjoy it more. I know I don’t care one iota how folks spend their hard earned money. They earned it, they should be able to spend their money however they want. I’ve just come to prefer the SSF experience personally.

read the thread, here are some of my thoughts on peoples comments.

1. diablo 2 classic when it was released was an amazing game. epic on all levels. and it only got better with the lod expansion. I remember the endless lobbies of hell cows and the search for gg rares. this game blew everyones mind and there was no competition to it.

very interesting video talking about how game developers value game analytics more importantly than what players say they want.
diablo 4 is the only game I've ever paid for a game pass. anytime I see games with some kind of seasonal pass I turn the other way, can't stand game companies that turn into big box retail store.
look at what they did to my boy halo... and now diablo. disgusting tech industry is just full of predatory people and practices.

most of this discussion is about the future of AI but somehow diablo 4 was brought up and its interesting what this genius among men says about it.



what he says about diablo 4 is spot on.

lmao seriously though the story is about Lilith banging an angel and having a kid with an angel... guys this whole game top to bottom is stupid af. lol.

Probably why before you buy videos exist. Helps save money from awful products.

More sense than defending a product on a sub forum of a game you're "supposedly" enjoying so much you have time to waste on counterposts. As the adage goes, people are more likely to criticize than to praise.

But you already made your decision to not play, long ago, so now you're sitting watching videos trying to justify your position? Makes no sense. I mean, really, its just the same group of users that declared they hated the game before it released that then sit here and post videos like this or continue to say games shit. I think the majority of those users just have nothing going on and are in a state of coping since they couldn't fill the void in life with D4 as they were hoping.

If you read any of my posts previously you know I didn't buy it because it offered no innovation to the space and just regurgitated the same mind numbing ARPG formula which I heavily criticized.
