Infernal Hordes 6 x round runs are very underrated. You get souls, ga items and obducite.

I've been running them and what I've noticed, personally, is that running them solo < running them in pubs. Your best bet, is to list a group for yourself, and watch other people's play. If someone is standing still, they are abusing the system and aren't collecting their aether, kick them from the group and find someone that is going to.

Personally, I run them just for obducites, so I do Infernal Horde 10 Wave and send everything at the obducites.

I run IH6 solo,. My aim is to get around 300 sinders. I never fail to get that much. I get guaranteed ga items, obducite and souls. IMO, getting ancestral ga items is much harder. 6 minutes without the need for some kind of offering for kurast is nothing. As for IH10, I do them in groups. I list the run for the exp boost. T4 is like the old pit 75 or the new pit 55. You get unreal amount of monster kills per time if you keep choosing 50% more events with hellborne + spawn +1. That gives you enough exp even at high levels. I am not as harsh as you. I think D4 is a multiplayer game where you should also be able to relax. I can kill all of the hordes alone and don't kick anyone. I only have one rule, the one cook rule, don't touch the options if I am the host. There are different strategies to go beyond 800 cinders each run but they don't mix up well when some randos choose freaky options. That's it.

I like that naming being the one cook rule. It's very fitting.

I just hate when people take advantage of others. If I know the person and they ask if they can afk for a minute, that's fine. But someone that joins a random game, with random people, and has a toggle button on their mouse to spam their abilities. Lame, no thanks. I won't carry people I don't know for free. Send me forum gold? Sure. If I'm drunk, sure. But sober? No thanks. I pay enough taxes IRL to give to the free loaders.

Those are different perspectives then. I regard them as the free exp boosters comparable to an extra elixir. They are happy to level and get obducite in return => everyone content. FG and gold aren't that important to me. I am swimming in gold by just selling my tal rings or other stuff with gas here and there from Belial/Pits/Horde runs. One man's trash is another man's treasure
For the real virtual e-pp comparison, I go to helltides and see where my build is at leaderboards. I try to climb as high as possible with my own home cooked builds not copied from streamers. I am playing a blizzard sorc. I beat the second one from Germany and am behind the Korean dude who barely managed pit 101 in the last second. I'll beat him till the end of the season :D The fun part is, blizzard sorc is listed as b-tier as there is no definitive guide for S8.

The other e-pp comparison would be reaching P300. 4 people pit runs are more effective for that aim and there you need coordination, not necessarily at infernal hordes.

There's no way I'll be able to reach para 300. I'm at 261 right now and the last 39 levels just feel....impossible.

P272 here, I need 8 more levels to complete my homebrew build. Most of my early exp boost came from the leveling service in pits from 1-60  You get 60% exp boost from rushing 3 people. The other one is with my friend, a d2jsper here and my nephew. He's a very slow necro that insta kills pit bosses. You just need him to get there.

This is what I use.

Well I run my 10’s but I save those now for whispers and use my 6 and 8’s

I’m not really running Meta though, just self styled Rain of Arrows. Pretty useless this season.

It does however absolutely slaughter hordes.
