I’ll give the base story 5/10. New expansion story is ass.
As for game current state, it’s okay to play and waste time for 2-3 weeks but not really in any sense of greatness. Games like this genre desperately need items diversity. D4’s only up to its 6th season now so there aren’t too much uniques/legendaries/mythics to build on.

Lastly, hack/cheat/dupe ruined the game economy 4-5 weeks into season.

If you’re looking to start d4, i suggest wait til s7 and you may get 2-3 good weeks out of it

If you're not an active d4 player how can you give an accurate non-biased opinion on the current state of the game? Why should your opinion be as valid as someone who is an active player of the game they are giving an opinion on..?

Well the fact that d4 comes with character smart loot and each class has its own main stat and can’t loot/use item that is labelled for another class made that diversity even worse. Optimal farm route these days should be speedfarming pit 110ish i’ll say, only a handful of builds can do so. That also heavily impact player’s experience.

Game is not at the level to be considered ‘great’. Period.

Well, I payed 60$ + 40$ or something like that for it and I play every new season for week or two after season start. So I think I have enough xp with this game and my opinion is valid.

But what I can tell you, some friends of mine didn't even buy d4 because they looked at gameplay and said - wtf is that lol, I'm not going to buy this garbage!

I think you and people like you take d4 too seriously, game has no depth and that's not much time needed to figure out opinion about it.

last update, i just liked the way they made the good old act3 from D2 in this game.
Overall the storyline is decent but once done its boring just like in D3 and in D2, be honest what was the storyline in the end?

Only problem i have with the last 2 updates is that the game has too many D3 features now, which makes it boring in the endgame.

Overall the (dayly) updates and game freezing 10/10 omg make a stable game.

I still play D2 LOD on a PC. Not a hardcore gamer obviously, I have and played D3, enjoyed it but it overheats my tower. If I get D4 what is the best system to play it on? PS5? or...
