It's D4, it's not like there's a lot of options to begin with

Yeah I think it’s weird when I see these guides and among the requirements are stuff like triple crit GA resource Kepeleke, level 100 menagerist glyph, etc.

I get if folks are committed they’ll get there eventually I suppose.

tbh triple GA keep 3.0 isn’t even the problem, it’s the constantly changing tempers on leggo gear. I’m only using 3 leggos, won’t switch. No point. 100 glyphs are pretty easy to get just boring af. My point is for the price of 1 piece of the “new guides

It's good that at least they are still looking for the best possible variant, not like in season 2 I think when ball lightning was op and everyone was using some shitty maxroll variant without firebolt enchantment, elementalist aspect and devouring blaze ammy. Till the end of season everyone was dealing like half of damage that I was doing and thought it's the best because there was no content to test it, everything would melt anyway. Then they introduced aoz and I was able to reach higher level than any popular streamer whos builds everyone is copying. Funny how everyone was overpaying for the shitty gear they recommend and nobody cared about actual best gear.
Now with quill volley I am still not convinced that resolve stacking is worth it dropping tyraels and tybaults, which gives 85 max res, ton of damage reduction, max resource and 20% dmg multi + some damage from movement speed. Oc 26% resolve is 52% damage multi but then you have to switch to a weaker paragon glyph. And you have armored hide to activate your max block to get max damage from redirected force aspect which almost 100% uptime with prodigy's tempo. So in reality it's probably just a bit of damage increase over better tankiness.
Btw if you struggle to reach 275 max resource just use elexir of resourfullness, I have ga resource tibaults and kepeleke but still using it till I can get my masterwork right.

I have 336 max resource no elixir, but I’ve been recommending people use it at low gear lvls bc these content clowns don’t say basic stuff like that in their guides. I ended up getting 4ga shako so dropped ebewaka. I stopped following anything after resolve stacking. I can comfortably speed 101.Tyreals is a mid-game armor that most people don’t have until endgame.

Bolded part is so true.

I thought poe players were bad for sheeping builds but this is wiiild. I bet most never look at a paragon board unless their maxroll guide is telling them to, and exactly what to do lmao.

Lol I agree - it’s like “I changed an aspect BOOM - new version”. 99% run kepeleke midnight and blt. The other 1% run sepa 🤣

Yea the gear requirement is crazy for op volley, ppl are trying to switch to this build without being p300 and having the needed 275+ resource, Ive obtained ga resource tibs now I need keke ga and like 100 more paragons and im try the build out

The funny thing is there’s no point to even making that version of the build. The regular version dominates the entire game and can do pit 100+ easily, all you’re getting is bigger numbers while everything dies in 1 hit

Overpower is not that expensive -.- I played it from para 170 no problem.

Can run mostly uniques, nn overpriced 2-3ga uniques.

Overpower is way better for the value, but def dont need to switch. But it's not expensive or hard.

Helmet (ebawaka is fine - make sure your hall choices give you 3 buffs ie jaguar+gorilla for quills, shako works if you have it) CHEAP 100m max
leg chest (life/armor/dex - interdiction imprint) can be CHEAP 100m max 1 ga
leg gloves (quill/as/life prefered - moonrise imprint) can be CHEAP 100m max - skimp here if needed, get better later
tibaults (max resource GA) CHEAP 50m
Yens (all res GA) CHEAP - 100m
Kepeleke - GA Resource kepe, 2.8-3.0 roll. 2.6 if you broke af I guess... Also - CHEAP sub 200m for 2.8 ga resource, 1b~ for ga resource 3.0.
-Chance to hit twice is good now after patch as well if you can get it
banished lords talisman (GA life+55%~+affix)] CHEAP Under 100-200m - can skip ga and it's under 50m
midnight sun (50% affix, GA doesnt matter getting started, but dex->crit dmg if you care) CHEAP and you run this anyway! 50m
leg ring with dex/life/attack speed (temper resource gen - redirected force imprint) YOU RUN THIS ANYWAY - 50m LESS if no GA
Literally less than 300fg/1b to play this build and I just handed you the shopping list. LMK the expensive part to get started.......

No reason to not run overpower really unless you dont feel like switching and can do 101s in a couple mins. I switched early (para 170~), and it was a big improvement over non-op version, even with every other hit being op.

Basic overpower is the sweet spot imo for farming 101s and bossing. All the new stuff isn't new builds, it's just min-maxing, which is unnecessary for general farming as you mentioned

Seeing all overpower is worth the switch imo lol satisfying

It’s 240 the requirement is. Isn’t hard to get to that baseline requirement of the build. Pretty much just a decent midnight ring, kepe rod and any banished lord, and you already start going billions of damage.

I mostly play this game ssf so yea anyone can buy the gear needed and unless you are guaranteeing op on every swing its not better then regular volley maybe equal but Ive went back n forth between banished lords and an amulet with unyielding or the other cheesey block chance ramps crit aspect

Yeah it took me a while to find this answer.

It’s 275 minus the core skill cost.

Even though kepeleke makes it cost no vigor apparently the game still thinks you’re spending 35 resource on quill or 30 resource on crushing hands as part of the equation.

These "content clowns" keep making new "versions" of their builds - are people actually rebuying their gear?? lmao this is the weirdest season of any arpg I have ever played.

Yes indeed. People are and they’re enjoying it. For many players they would’ve gotten bored of the game. Since there’s a new stronger ver. Of their build consistently being released, it gives them reason to trade. I’m happy with this and can see the economy stabilized on the trade threads. Gold went back up in price. Runes didn’t tank. Items are holding value. This is the best economy I’ve seen in d4 since season 2/3
