That guy handled you poorly, but in all honesty it s a fair point. Dont use any JSP talk in game. Simply reply check your DM and communicate price and deal details over PM here.
On the other hand you also reacted poorly to this guy. You pretty much answered with the same coin.

You got your FG, he got his item, ignore the rest. A lot of people play this game drunk, or high, or both and many people just take advantage of not being able to be punched in the mouth.

I will admit though, you're acting a bit too sensitive. Let it go.

Next time, the most you want to say in game is just your account name "xephyros", they can say theirs but leave the "@jsp" out of it, and just say "everything through pm". If they don't keep dialogue in JSP, leave the trade. It's not worth losing your account/FG over.

I will say though, I have not heard of anyone being banned on D4 for mentioning JSP.

How is it a fair point? Blizzard has never done anything disciplinary regarding jsp and trading in diablo games.

Some people don’t mind mentioning jsp but some do. Just because blizzard hasn’t done anything doesn’t mean he’s not at risk. The flipping it for 20k part was a bit over but yep that’s how trading works. If he can find buyers that would pay 10 times for an item then kudos to that guy.

In the first seasons there were reports of people banned allegedly for being connected with third party trading sites. I have no idea if it s true or not but my bnet account is there since day 1 of almost every blizz game and I have there crazy amounts of things collected in all the games (almost full achievemts in wow, huge hearthstone library and so on) and i do everything I can to protect them including not mentioning any third party trading sites as JSP. Obviously no hacking and what not.

Edit: i also don t wanna give up jsp, because i enjoy how trade is facilitated in many games/platforms.
