The one n only thing I'd say about Rob's build is it has you using a Two hander for the double landslide dmg aspect, I really prefer 1h n a totem you get more cc more cdr, more lucky hitz as totem has 10% lucky built in (procs masochist, calm before storm faster) different tempers this is important as you have two legendary nodes you can cap then (earthen devastation and thunderstruck) extra aspect, faster attack speed

I really just meant cooler, not better. Benefits are probably higher damage per hit, which can up crits by a lot, but the benefits you mentioned for 2 items are not to overlook.
Also the statistical average dps is probably higher with a one hander and a totem.

it really depends on the main aspect being used and if its really worth the added bonus from a 2handers versus a second aspect you'd get from the totem.

for stormslide, which i am playing myself this season, i really think the 1hander + totem combo is better because of what BigWorm mentionned. Getting to 60% on both thunderstruck and earthen devastation is much easier when not using a 2hander.
i recommend going for a dagger (easy 20%dmg to close enemies) + totem. The 2hander bonus on your tempers will put you over 60% and doesnt help the other legendary node at all.

stormslide is quite fun. deletes bosses and i havent yet found the wildheart boots which will boost my dmg even more.

I’m not a stormslide expert but I think the attack speed difference is also important here too.

Theoretically the attack speed versus dmg tradeoff for 1h or 2h cancel but stormslide has a weird effect where your landslides casts that spawn lightning storm scale directly with attack speed but the lightning storm proc ticks themselves once spawned also scale with attack speed. So the lightning storm proc’s basically double dip on attack speed from my understanding.
