Well, good idea, but the problem is that it is diablo game. As you probably heard, diablo is famous franchise - that's why people have opinion about latest diablo game. That's why I think it is perfectly fine to be on forums. But I'm happy to see you are mad about it.

Acting like you know better (you don't) - what I know exactly, is that diablo 4 is garbage game, and balance is just one tiny part of it.

But yes, skill balance is horrible even after 1 year after release. If you think situation when one skill deals quadrillions of damage and others do nothing is good way to balance things - I feel bad for you.

Ofc there is a huge amount of theory craft involved on all sides. The developers of the game and the community on the other side. Just because you copy paste builds in 30 seconds from different sites, doesn t mean that those people haven't spent thousands of hours testing, exchanging information and coming up with these pretty "standardized" builds.

This applies nowadays to any half decent game. I am not arguing D4 has the most complex system, but it s good enough to catch your ears for hundreds of hours, unless ofc you pay for a rush copy paste the builds and after 30 minutes: aaaaah where is the complexity. It s a fucking clicker game like all the rest in the genre. What do you expect.

Diablo 4 has an amazing world, great instances, decent itemization now. By far the most fluid and good looking gameplay in the market. Anyway.. you don t like it, just go play something else. That way you show the finger to the devs and get to enjoy your life instead of crying around for nothing you can influence.

I absolutely agree those people invested many many hours into d4. What I say - it cost nothing anyway, because game is so simple and dumb, it take 1-2 hours to figure out everything about character you want play.

Nah, I just decided it isn't worth my time or effort to argue with someone so ignorant and misguided. You can't educate someone who isn't willing to be educated, but because you asked me to bring something to the subject -

From my personal perspective, this is the most balanced game since Diablo 2: LoD. I applaud the developers for actually listening to the community and actively making changes season to season (for example, last season players complained that Barbs are overpowered and Sorc is underpowered. This season, Barbs have been brought more in line with other classes and Sorc now has 3x different viable builds and potentially more for endgame between Chain Lightning, Firebolt, Lightning Spear, etc.).

They might've overcorrected by making Lightning Spear so strong, but those who don't want to play that specific build still have other options. Basically, every class is able to farm Pit 101s+ and IH7-8s with several builds -

Druid - Landslide / Stormslide
Rogue - Barrage / Rapid Fire / Andys
Sorc - CL / LS / FB
Barb - Flay Bleed / WW / Bash
Necro - Bone Spirit / Blood Surge

You mentioned that this game is bad from a balance perspective because in your opinion, certain skills aren't viable while others dominate, but this is far more build diversity than exists in D2 LoD even 23 years after release... where a few top tier builds (Hammerdin, Lightning Sorc, Blizz Sorc, Lightning Fury Javazon, Mosaic Sin) have and still dominate everything in the endgame and most of the other skills and builds are trash tier.

So when you call out the Diablo franchise and then start trashing D4 because you, personally, don't understand the game mechanics, I find it funny because you clearly have no idea what you're talking about. It clued me in when you tried to trivialize theory crafting in D4... where people have to analyze the itemization and patch changes, test skill/item interactions and synergies, and come up with optimal combinations of allocating the 255 paragon points across 8-9 boards every season.

You're still entitled to your opinion, but I find your takes hilariously misinformed. Back to my suggestion... if you hate the game so much, maybe it's too complicated for you to understand. Perhaps find a simpler game or hobby that's more fit to your mental capacity. Maybe Tetris?
