I think a resplendent spark for 1 more temper try would be fair, that way you never 100% brick an item but it gets crazy expensive to keep going after the normal limit

Yeah they are an awful addition to the game. For the reason that you mentioned and because they completely invalidate all but the best uniques

New post appear on forum in future: I still can’t get the temper stat I wan after using x spark…

Salvaged it.

Think it was 3ga gloves, CC/DoT/LHC.
Also bricked 2x 3ga 2h mace Str/Life/Crit Dmg and 1x 3ga 2h Scythe Int/Life (I think)/Crit Dmg
