After D3, I tried really hard to give a chance to new Diablo games.
I will always love the games that actually understand the true essence of Diablo and what makes games fun to play.

Unfortunately, the new games simply don’t cut it.
Hopefully, D5 or a reboot would be worth playing, but I’m getting to an age which new Diablo games won’t matter anymore. Because, I won’t have time to play them.

But I’m a little optimistic about the future regarding Diablo games.
B. Kotick is no longer with the company.
A guy that said he wanted to take fun out of making video games, which he not only succeeded in that but also the games were not fun to play.
Microsoft might do better. But I wouldn’t bet on it.

The lack of a lobby/in game communication method and in game trading source is disappointing as well. I see all these people in game and interact with none of them. The discord for trading is terrible and the site they made is equally as bad. I hope they address those two in the new expansion.

Oh yea, killing the same boss in the Helltide 24/7 that looks exactly like 20 other bosses in this ai generated game is not only boring but torture.
Comparing a game made almost 30 years ago to d4 is a crime. Look at the monsters in d2 and look at the monsters in d4, especially the bosses which all look the same probably because dungeons and bosses were ai generated.
In this age of technology d4 should’ve been the best diablo game ever, but thanks to people who enjoy killing one boss at the same blinding helltide spot so they can grab the same meaningless gear is the reason d4 tastes like beer with no alcohol, or going to first base with a woman that used to be a man.

D4 most insipid game I’ve ever played, not because i’’m a d2 fan. Found 3 Uber uniques this season and yawned. I seriously, but seriously question how can someone love this game. I understand do whatever floats your boat and everyone likes different things, but seriously my question is serious and firm.

Still missing endgame but much better than it was at launch.

My problem is, they already had a bunch of these ideas ready to go, but intentionally withheld them and released a dogshit game so they could add “update improvements” and “paid content” (new expac for $60 bucks or w.e. it is within a year of the steaming pile of dogshit they released )

I’m still playing casually, but it’s mostly just bc it’s a bit of easy forum gold and I can play casually, though it’s kind of boring still.

By endgame I mean content and enjoyable farming. At this point you basically just spam tormented boss or helltides for GAs. Bland.

d2 is a boring game, but everyone in here is not ready for this disc. Everyone play the same build (hammerdin/blizz) - ohhh runewords, yeah, sure. Enigma, infinity and insight, that was all. Chaos/baal runs are hella boring, spamming blizz/hammers on waves 1 to 5. Meph runs, lobbys are run by bots 24/7. Everyone and their mother run with a BO barb in hc. Seriously, the game was fine when it first came out and before 1.10, but now? its boring as hell. d4 has more endgame than d1,d2 and d3 combined.

Helltide isn't end game content in d4 sorry to say. Baal is all d2 has.

Currently The highest pit tier completed in the world is 147/200 for softcore by a immortal fire sorc (Mekuna on ttv). Hardcore isn't too far behind. I think Rob is pretty far up there on barb. Funny how the hype is all Necro, but they are getting absolutely decimated by rogues in pits. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
