I dont know, I kinda like the scaling.

I mean, I know what you're saying and its all logical, but I actually feel the progress. I like that every inch of the map stays somewhat competitive (not really cause the over world is more if a campaign and first experience thing besides events). Its a preference thing.
But I like the scaling more than I thought I would.

does the barb still suck ass until you get all the aspects/legendary items needed for specific builds?

Yay for open trading tho that’s a good thing as well

can unlock some of the aspects from dungeons (fury generating ones), but i just casually played and never really had an issue finding the correct aspects. the BIS uniques are not even build enabling either which is nice

i hear you, that's why i like the pit and nm dungeons. cause if i do get that juicy upgrade, i can just run the same dungeon at that tier. then i can feel the difference in damage and that's one of greatest feelings in an arpg for me. i guess it's not a big issue since i can do that.

Surprised to hear that from you, and good point. For some reason people constantly avoid smart loot theme as if it doesn't exist. But it actually defines the game.

I still think it is just the same game, changes are minor.

I think you are a bit too invested. I always say it like it is. Game was disappointing and shit and now it got better. Thats what happened and thats the praise I give it: Its better now, fun to play.
It is still no revolution, it still not what I hoped it would be, but its a good game now. In my opinion.
