you attempted to make a comparison of the two games, with the idea that d2 wouldnt be considered fun if trading was non-existent which is hilarious since it highlights every other aspect where d4 is lacking. doesnt take a rocket scientist to interpret that.

even without trading, d2 > d4

he said were werent in d2 times anymore... fair enough. but in no way shape or form would d4 currently be good if trading was unrestricted. theres alot more there to be fixed... alot.

and i would even argue that, with what weve seen from the devs post launch, that this game is beyond repair.

and even if they did, that wouldnt change the fact that there were also many who played just for fun! that was the good thing about d2, you werent limited or pushed in any way, so you could just do whatever you prefered ! i dont care about someone like yoginator who is there just for the money, i personally was there because dueling on ladder was more fun people werent fully decked out like on nl where everyone minmaxed everything, which i prefered because i didnt wanna invest too much time into gearing either!
