So, in order to find the journals, you need to open the chest at the end of the vault with as many stacks from the pearl shrine. It’s not a guaranteed drop unless you have a high amount of stacks. They hint that in the seasonal dev video. The higher stacks, the higher reward. Unfortunately, there is nothing that shows you (currently) the amount of luck you get per stack.

I've had this quest since like 30 and I'm now 40. So maybe you missed something.

Sweet. I did open the small chest first, and then it offered me a bigger chest for 5 more but at that point I must have been out. I also noticed certain vaults you can accomplish alot of the objectives before you grab the shield.

I had one rom vault lvl 70, is dropping...

Apparently I read (I think on reddit) it is designed like that = to be a grind. The drop rate of these scrolls is quite low.

I saw a post saying they have a chance from nightmare vaults in T3, not there yet so I am not sure. Sounds different than nightmare dungeons not sure.
