Lots of cope & seethe.. It's stilll amazing to me that 20+ years ago gamers had single player / 8x multiplayer / battle.net join/create/lobby / more characters, items, options, runes, the list goes on..
but.. but.. but.. somehow some fancy CGI advertisements mixed with paid reviews, coerced a nostalgic fanbase into buying something that's far less of a product than what's been offered 20+ years ago!!
It's like Blizzard is selling modern people a CD-Player now, but you literally owned an I-Pod 20 years ago..
Although, I am sure a heavy % of people did not take an in-depth look at the mechanics of Diablo 4 and simply purchased it thinking it would live up to the hype and it's predecessors..
thats why its the job of us d2 gigachads to teach people what to look for so this doesnt happen again, and eventually games like this get no funding and hopefully die

my advice to zoomers is, check whatever you are good at, what you understand best. you can look at ingame mechanics. you can look at the company's trajectory in the last couple of years. you can just look at the physiognomy of (((CEO))) and the devs and know exactly what to expect. google "bobby kotick". check out those dead eyes

now look at the devs. now look at d2 devs. see a difference between those two groups? remember, (((they))) can stop you from talking about it, but no one can stop you from thinking about it

the difference between those two groups is what will make the difference between the end products!
