i dont like "subverting expectations" when it comes to this, nor do i want "complex and misunderstood characters with a tragic backstory" or whatever is now the woke mainstream.. it would unironically be better to just stick to the basics when it comes to this - angels good, demons bad. the whole lilith mother of humanity story sounds like it has been taken straight out of talmud, its just perverse and wrong tbh <_<

I agree. To me, this was one of the best experiences I had with D4. Played with my brother (playing with someone seriously makes it more fun) from beginning of the campaign to the end and it was a blast. I do still think it was so dumb how that one guy died by the plants or the tree lol.

Yup, the campaign is where D4 absolutely shines. Its BY FAR the best Campaign in the genre.

Of course thats in the end not what we ARPG enthusiasts focus on, but its still something I give the game credit for.

I still think that the game turns into hot garbage after the campaign, but it has its moments and the campaign is one of them.

Campaign and aesthetics of the game are top notch.
