Now with the videos of PoE 2 rolling out its becoming evident who actually created D2 and what those Devs can do.

Imo PoE was done with too little budget and launched from a too small company to hit really big. Over the years it developed but core stayed the same. Still a good game just not this mass appeal game like D2.

PoE 2 is developed with budget and stability and it SHOWS.

Now we are truly seeing what the D2 devs (some of them at least) can do as a successor to the game given the chance.

Side note I think its great that the devs who did D2 still have passion for the genre. Maybe the death of blizz north and their early D3 being trashed and they being sort of pushed out of their own product lit a fire in them that will never go out especially seeing the rights holders of their product demolish it with D3
