Have a great story to share with my fellow d4 discussion end game enjoyers.

Been playing classic WOW hardcore. Met a low level gnome mage with all Chinese characters in their name. Saved them from death and quested together for an hour.

He hands me 2 gold. I can’t copy and paste what he’s typing to me in Chinese, but I use translator to send him a thank you and all that jazz.

Next day he asks me if I know the value of gold to USD in my area. Okay…

Then he asks if I have WeChat or a specific all (won’t share name here) and if I want to make money together with him.

I thought I was getting a pen pal but I think I’m being finessed boys, down to the 2g investment to gain my good will. 😁

How were you able to understand what he’s saying to you?(assuming he was typing in Chinese). Still a cool story.

He started translating from Chinese to English once I told him several times that I could not copy and paste what he was typing to me. I guess I need an add on for that.

I laughed when it went from simple mandarin to, “Hello. What is the value of WOW currency to your local currency? Where are you from? Want to make money?”
