You spelled 'cheating' wrong

a great way to differentiate between OG d2 players and newer players to the genre. newer players think it's cheating and blizz should show up with 2 deputies to arrest you for an exploit in-game warrant, while us older d2 fans will say "fun detected"

duping and/or b-wording can give you more euphoria than playing the actual game itself

me too. i never knew anyone who viewed duping or complaining about it as "cheating" back then. most people thought it was fun af and a cool exploit

this entire "cheating" baloney stemmed from players victim blaming themselves, when in reality it's the devs who are the reason the crap is even possible in the first place

Yeah same, it was just everywhere and commonly accepted. You’d just pay less for obvious dupes, and perm them every game. If it’s a Diablo game WITHOUT duping it’s weird.
