I think the thing that I'd like to see the most is some way to encourage multiplayer. It just feels like a solo game, a good one, but a solo game.

Alright as somebody who has played for at least 12 hours in season 2, I now feel both prepared and compelled to share an opinion.

It’s better. But if you already experienced 1-100 in pre or season 1, or if you haven’t played but have ARPG experience - don’t bother with season 2. I won’t tell you the game is 0/10 after spending 100 hours in it, but I can say that the juice is not worth the squeeze.

There’s quite a few good changes that people have already talked about elsewhere.

However at the end of the day you still spend a quarter or more of your time trying to figure out if the loot is actually an upgrade. I get really bored scanning Rares to check IP, stats, etc. every 5-10 minutes.

I don’t see any incentive to continue Uber Duriel and other boss runs because getting a Shako, grandfather, etc. isn’t very exciting to me. If the idea of getting one of these is exciting to you, you might have more fun with it.

Overall T100 is easy to complete at level 80 in IP 800 gear, Uber Duriel is doable by level 90s solo in a 4 man group, and there’s no other end game content. I don’t enjoy “loot simulator” and I think Vampire Survivors on Steam has superior itemization and game play.

Isn't it still in a state where filtering through items is garbage or did they somehow improve the functionality of rare items being best, but having to pick up each individual item? For me the game is a no go as long as that exists. One of the indications of a good ARPG is the ability to easily decipher what is an upgrade without even having to pick it up off the ground. D2 has a great example where you know what a unique/set is before identification. You know what runes lead to amazing runewords. However when you have to sift through rares that opens up an entirely different can of worms in loot enjoyment.
