I'm seriously considering Grim Dawn. Heard way too many good things about it.

oh yeah forgot about that one, totally give it a go as first playthrough will hook you up 100%

New expansion coming in 2024 also which is kind of ridiculous but appreciated

None of it means anything until items are fixed. The game play could be absolutely perfect and it wouldn't matter at all if items are still boring and there's nothing to find

Played POE like 1 month, did 1 week break and had nothing to play and now I am playing POE.

I highly recommend Factorio but idk if u like these types of games, Zizaran and someone else was checking out Undecember to see if it's still P2W, apparently it still is. When it comes to me all I have is Poe, Factorio, I guess there is Last Epoch and technically Baldurs Gate 3 which bored me, just not my type of game

I'm about half way through lies of p. But I'm getting bored..

Going to start messing around with the weapons, but my build is soo op rn

Il play poe2 but until then I stick to a game I can at least make some FG from.

Not much out there, I personally think s2 will be good... I'm not as put off by the itemization as all the haters are here in jsp... but I mean if we're trying to compare to d2lod... lol it's never going to happen, accept it and either play or move on

There will never be as good itemization in game if diablo 2 Lod is your measuring stick also I think either most of you were too young or didn't play diablo 2 at launch because it took a long time before it was goated

Poe itemization is as good as lod so it's not like it's not possible.

Good luck on fixing it tho when you have shit like spell damage scaling with weapon DPS. Absolutely stunning levels of stupidity

Debatable, personally I think it's a perfect example of too much and lead to the game flatlining in widespread interest.

I went through sooo many different groups trying to get them to keep playing, everyone quits.

What's trading like in poe now?

It's not the itemization that's too much, it's all the different league mechanics they've introduced. A lot of new players think you have to do and learn all of them which makes the game very overwhelming.

The trick, especially when introducing new players, is to get them to pick 1 or 2 of those mechanics and stick to them and skip the rest. I quit a long while back because of this, but then I went back and stuck with just doing blights and it's much better. It's almost like picking a specialization in an mmo or something. The game should probably do a better job explaining that doing everything isn't necessary.

That is one of the most truthful explanations about poe i've read in a while I would add the skill linking and paragon board isn't user friendly as well.
