they didn't, they not only didnt fix the bad things they made MORE bad things, and released them along side a bad season with bad mechanics and zero additions to the biggest issue the game has, a lack of end game.
gaming companies depend on sweaty no lifers to be the canary in the coal mine. they get to problematic areas and systems way before the regular gamer. and if you dont take them serious the dad gamers get there eventually and the game folds on itself. and that's what happened. they spent weeks trying to slow down the sweat lords, and probably halved their profits moving forward as a result even if they fix the game.
This. Social media filled up with dad gamers + console players/hyped up copers 'i'm just enjoying the game why are people mad maybe u should play less' and then they hit the wall. Unfortunately, some people can't even fathom something beyond their own experience. There are people who told others not to buy this because you could forsee it being bad(and it is)
