Easiest way to obtain gold OTHER then forum gold is trading actual useable items (3/4; 4/4) in the blizzard trade discord
Most "useable" items should be tradeable for 10-50m and anything higher tier will increase that amount substantially up to 30b for like a 820+ perfect affix dagger for example
Get used to the market but just google "Blizzard diablo 4 trade discord" and this should get you started

That being said, be wary that some items simply wont sell, you wont get offers for them, but post them anyway; someone might be willing to give you some coins, also majority of the community simply quit but it still has a decent amount of foot traffic. Much higher then here at least

There’s also this popping bot exploit. It farms the PvP zone all day and gambles the seeds and vendors those too. Wake up after “Leah Botti” goes to work for 8 hours to an extra 1-300 mill

There is a clear imbalance in the game for acquiring gold vs. How much it costs to reroll.

I have a perfect 3/4 pants.. the 4th is armor% and I can't roll beyond 2.8% ... it's costs like 35m a roll. I give up on them lol
