Don't be too harsh guys. It was the majority of that team's first game release. Just because they had next to no experience making a game let alone an ARPG doesn't mean you have to....wait what am I talking about. Why were these neophytes given a chance to make a Diablo sequel?

Blizzard got fucked brother. That huge sexual harassment scandal drained their talent. Now you 100% bet there’s a Chief Talent Officer ensuring that their staff is diversified - optics are #1. No hate towards these people, but the game is in this state because of that. The new people are developing on the foundation laid by the previous. And if they didn’t properly document through the years of development .. well, that’s why fixing one thing breaks another.
