This is just an adjustment from game to game. Feels natural after a couple of hours.
the monetization
70$ for the base game is all you need.
Anything else that has been monetized is skins. The battle pass is ONLY skins.
I don't give a shit about skins.
the gameplay
This is where the game excels. It has one of the best game engines in any ARPG. It very fluid and the overall pace is good.
the bugs
Any ARPG launches with bugs, that's about it. Not sure if you played either D2, D3 or PoE at launch?
I feel like they did miss a demo test
the gold dupes
Dupes has been a part of a lot of arpg. They are actively doing something about it and banning accounts.
the terrible itemization
Here I do agree with you. There's an imbalance in drop rate and item stats. Huge minus.
v1.1.2 is a solid 6/10 for me. Game could evolve into a 9/10 just below D2R if they go in the correct direction.

Now... does the game have issues? It sure does ... but nothing special compared to how poe or d2 where in their first year.
Important is their listening to feedback and within the limitations of being up on all platforms they will work through the issues and the game will get better and better. Either way the gameplay of D4 now is for me personally highly superior to anything else that exists in the market including D2.
