Breh imagione duping worthless gold and not Perm Btals in 2000 D2

Someone explain to me how gold has any value in the game -- I cant be asked to try D4 after what they did to D3

rerolling stats... some people might buy a 3/4 and dont want to give up the last roll sucking when it costs millions to reroll and noone wants to farm millions to reroll once and fail again lol

- Gold can reroll ONE stat out of FOUR on an item over and over until you get the ONE stat that you want
- The gold cost for the reroll gets exponentially bigger every time you roll (I dumped an item in pre-season at 25 million gold per roll) You can test your limits how far you want to go with rolls,

I am guessing a lot of people are buying gold to keep up with the rerolls when ironically an item will likely drop 2-3 days later with twice the stats anyway. It is a strange gambling enticing mechanic in the game.
